7-Day Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari via Kigali 

 

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Kigali for relaxation and overnight stay.Depending on your arrival time, optional evening activities may include Local craft market visit , Kigali nightlife experience , Traditional Rwandan cuisine dinner

Day 2: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a guided Kigali city tour featuring some of Rwanda’s most important historical and cultural landmarks including Kigali Genocide Memorial , Local craft markets , Kigali city viewpoints , Cultural centers.

After the city tour, begin your scenic drive through the rolling hills of Rwanda into Uganda via the Cyanika or Katuna border.Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world’s remaining endangered mountain gorillas.Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and overnight relaxation surrounded by the forest.

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experience.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure.The trek through the dense rainforest may take between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla family assigned to your group.

Once located, you will spend one magical hour observing the endangered Mountain Gorilla in their natural habitat.This is one of Africa’s most sought after wildlife experiences and a true bucket-list safari moment.After trekking, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4: Relaxation & Optional Community Experiences in Bwindi

Enjoy a relaxed morning surrounded by the beauty of the rainforest with Optional activities like Batwa cultural experience, Guided village walk ,Canoeing experiences,Coffee tour ,Nature walks ,Bird watching excursions .This day allows you to unwind after gorilla trekking while immersing yourself in local Ugandan culture and community tourism experiences.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and journey toward Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah national park and one of the best destinations for walking safaris.

Arrive in time for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in search of Zebras,Giraffes ,Buffaloes ,Impalas ,Elands Warthogs ,Topis The park’s scenic acacia woodlands and lakes make it one of Uganda’s hidden safari gems.After return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Walking Safari & Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo

Start your day with an early morning guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This unique experience allows you to explore the African wilderness on foot while observing wildlife up close in a safe environment.

Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch before enjoying an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Expect sightings of Hippos ,Crocodiles ,Fish eagles ,Kingfishers ,Buffaloes along the shoreline. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Equator Experience & Transfer to Entebbe Airport

After breakfast, begin your journey to Entebbe with a stop at the famous Uganda Equator for Photography ,craft shopping ,Equator water experiment  and Lunch break .Thereafter Continue to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda gorilla trekking and wildlife safari.
