Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Entebbe / Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative for a briefing about your Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee safari. You will then meet your professional English-speaking driver-guide and transfer to your booked hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for relaxation after your international flight.
Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an optional short city tour around Entebbe or Kampala, visiting local markets, craft shops, or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park – The Primate Capital of the World
After an early breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, Uganda’s famous tropical rainforest known as the “Primate Capital of the World.” This park is home to over 13 primate species including chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and L’Hoest monkeys.
The scenic drive takes you through beautiful countryside landscapes, rolling hills, tea plantations, traditional homesteads, and vibrant roadside markets. Lunch will be served en route.
For travelers seeking more comfort, a domestic flight from Entebbe to Kasese airstrip can also be arranged.
Upon arrival, check in at your safari lodge and enjoy dinner surrounded by the sounds of the African rainforest.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest & Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park.
Guided by experienced park rangers, you will trek through the lush tropical rainforest searching for wild chimpanzees. Along the way, expect to encounter several primates, exotic bird species, butterflies, and unique forest vegetation.
Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, groom, communicate, and swing through the forest canopy.
In the afternoon, enjoy an optional guided nature walk in the famous Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, renowned for bird watching, monkeys, and community tourism experiences.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, continue your journey to the world-famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining endangered mountain gorillas.This scenic drive through southwestern Uganda offers spectacular views of rolling hills, terraced farmlands, traditional villages, and the beautiful Kigezi Highlands often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.”
Lunch will be enjoyed en route before arriving in Bwindi in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge as you prepare for your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and guidelines for mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda.Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will enter the dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. The trek may take between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
Once the gorillas are found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat ,watching them feed, play, groom, and interact. This is considered one of the best wildlife experiences in Africa.
After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate before transferring to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi, known for its calm waters, scenic terraced hills, and beautiful islands. on arrival, Relax at the lodge and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere overlooking the lake.
