Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul – City Tour
Morning – Afternoon (Upon Arrival):
Arrive at Istanbul Airport. Meet your driver-guide and transfer to your hotel. Check in and rest after your journey.
Afternoon (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM):
Embark on a half-day city tour of Istanbul's historic heart. Visit the magnificent Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture that served as a cathedral, mosque, and now a museum. Continue to the Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets and stunning blue Iznik tiles. Explore the Hippodrome, the ancient chariot-racing arena, and visit the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's oldest and largest covered markets.
Evening (7:00 PM):
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 2: Day 2: Istanbul – Topkapi Palace – Fly to Cappadocia
Morning (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM):
After breakfast, visit the Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman sultans. Explore the palace's lavish courtyards, the Harem, and the Treasury, home to the famous Spoonmaker's Diamond and the Topkapi Dagger.
Midday (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM):
Transfer to Istanbul Airport for your domestic flight to Cappadocia.
Afternoon (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM):
Arrive in Cappadocia. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Take a short walk to explore the unique landscape of fairy chimneys and rock-cut dwellings.
Evening (7:00 PM):
Dinner and overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 3: Day 3: Cappadocia – Full Day Tour & Optional Hot Air Balloon
Early Morning (5:00 AM – 7:00 AM) – Optional:
For an unforgettable experience, book a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Drift silently over Cappadocia's surreal valleys, fairy chimneys, and rock-cut churches as the sun illuminates the landscape (pre-booking required, not included in the tour price).
Morning (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM):
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Cappadocia. Visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring rock-cut churches with stunning Byzantine frescoes. Explore the Uchisar Castle, a natural rock fortress offering panoramic views of the region.
Midday (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM):
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM):
Continue to the Underground City of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu, an ancient multi-level city carved into the soft volcanic rock. Visit Pasabag (Monks Valley) to see the unique fairy chimneys and the Avanos pottery village.
Evening (7:00 PM):
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Day 4: Cappadocia – Fly to Izmir – Ephesus Tour
Morning (7:00 AM – 8:00 AM):
After breakfast, transfer to Cappadocia Airport for your flight to Izmir.
Midday (10:30 AM – 12:00 PM):
Arrive in Izmir. Meet your local guide and drive to the ancient city of Ephesus (approximately 1 hour).
Afternoon (12:30 PM – 4:30 PM):
Explore the remarkable ruins of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the Mediterranean. Walk along the marble-paved Curetes Street to the magnificent Library of Celsus. Visit the Great Theatre, where St. Paul once preached, and the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Late Afternoon – Evening (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM):
Drive to your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk. Check in and enjoy dinner.

Day 5: Day 5: Pamukkale – Hierapolis – Return to Izmir – Departure
Morning (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM):
After breakfast, depart for Pamukkale, famous for its stunning white thermal terraces formed by mineral-rich hot springs (approximately 3 hours drive).
Midday (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM):
Explore the Pamukkale Thermal Pools and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Walk along the travertine terraces and swim in the ancient Cleopatra's Pool, surrounded by Roman columns. Visit the Hierapolis Theatre and the Necropolis.

Drive back to Izmir Airport for your domestic flight to Istanbul.
