Duration: 8 Days / 7 Nights

• Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Tarangire National Park
  
  • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
  • Meet your safari guide and transfer to a lodge or tented camp near Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hour drive).
  • Afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. Keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Tarangire.
• Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
  
  • Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Tarangire. The park’s varied landscapes, from rolling hills to acacia woodlands and swamps, support a rich array of wildlife.
  • Optional: Guided walking safari or night game drive (if offered by your accommodation).
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Tarangire.
• Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater Rim
  
  • After breakfast, drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately 3-4 hour drive).
  • Ascend to the crater rim and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the caldera below.
  • Check into your lodge or tented camp located on the crater rim.
  • Afternoon: Optional short walk along the crater rim to soak in the scenery.
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at the Ngorongoro crater rim.
• Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
  
  • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), as well as zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and a variety of bird species.
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater.
  • Late afternoon: Ascend back to the crater rim.
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at the Ngorongoro crater rim.
• Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
  
  • After breakfast, drive towards the Serengeti National Park (approximately 3-4 hour drive), passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
  • Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp in the central Serengeti area. This region is known for its resident wildlife and excellent year-round game viewing.
  • Afternoon: Game drive in the Serengeti.
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in the Serengeti.
• Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti
  
  • Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. Your guide will help you spot the diverse wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and numerous plains game.
  • Optional: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise for a unique perspective of the Serengeti (book in advance).
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in the Serengeti.
• Day 7: Serengeti Migration Tracking (Seasonal) & Departure Preparations
  
  • Depending on the time of year, your game drive will focus on areas where the Great Migration herds are located (if applicable). Witnessing thousands of wildebeest and zebras on the move is an unforgettable experience.
  • Enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti.
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in the Serengeti.
• Day 8: Serengeti to Arusha & Departure
  
  • Enjoy a final early morning game drive (optional).
  • Transfer to a local airstrip for a flight back to Arusha (approximately 1 hour flight).
  • Depending on your international flight schedule, you may have time for souvenir shopping or a day room before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure.
