🗓️ Day 1: Arrival & Scenic Game Drive

Morning:

• Pick-up from Moshi/Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport

• Drive to Arusha National Park (approx. 2 hours)

• Park entrance & welcome briefing by guide

Midday:

• Lunch at a designated picnic site with views of Mt Meru

• Begin your first game drive in the Serengeti Ndogo (Little Serengeti)

• Look out for zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and warthogs

Evening:

• Check in at Hatari Lodge or designated campsite/lodge inside the park

• Dinner and overnight stay

📸 Optional: Sunset photography session with views of Mt Kilimanjaro

🗓️ Day 2: Crater Exploration & Waterfalls Hike

Morning:

• Early breakfast at lodge

• Head out to Ngurdoto Crater – often called “Little Ngorongoro”

• Guided nature walk along the rim to spot monkeys, forest antelopes, and birds

Midday:

• Lunch in the forest or packed lunch by a waterfall site

• Short hike to Tululusia Waterfalls – an ideal photo and relaxation spot

Evening:

• Return to lodge

• Campfire dinner under the stars

• Optional: Night nature walk (if staying in the park)

🗓️ Day 3: Canoe Safari & Bird Watching on the Momella Lakes

Morning:

• Breakfast at the lodge

• Head to the Momella Lakes for a guided canoe safari

• Spot flamingos, hippos, and a wide variety of water birds

Midday:

• Picnic lunch by the lakeside

• Continue bird watching or enjoy a quiet nature walk

Afternoon:

• Optional visit to a nearby Masai Cultural Boma for cultural exchange

• Relaxation at lodge or campsite

Evening:

• Dinner and overnight stay

• Optional: Stargazing or storytelling by campfire

🗓️ Day 4: Mt Meru Hike & Departure

Morning:

• Early start for a short guided trek on the lower slopes of Mt Meru
  (Note: Full summit climbs take 3–4 days; this is a scenic half-day hike)

• Encounter black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and forest birds

Midday:

• Return to lodge/campsite for brunch or lunch

• Pack up and check out

Afternoon:

• Drive back to Arusha or Moshi

• Drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport
